may happen that using Internet Explorer 7 will run into an annoying error running the program that forces you to finish it. The error is more or less like this:
SysFader: iexplorer.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x300a2074" referenced memory at "0x05b3de24. The memory could not be "read".
The error occurs both in IE7, is closing it, and when you're starting a download, and outside of IE, eg. in Firefox. The documentation on the Internet is very varied and often proposed solutions do not solve the problem. Here are three tips to fix it permanently instead:
- disable Enable transition from the page in IE7 Tools / Internet Options / Advanced, and then restart IE;
- set "Adjust for best performance" from Control Panel / System / Advanced / Performance;
- (most important) disable all plugins for IE7 to SharePoint from Tools / Internet Options / Add-Ons. The error of fact sysfader happens when there is a version conflict between v11 and v12 Office installed on the same machine (even if only some Office components are installed, no need to complete installation).
