Configure DNS for the domain

With the command "dcpromo" Windows Server Active Directory service installed and are created in the DNS settings for entry into the domain of computer networking. Specifically, the DNS contains two "zones":
- one with the name of the domain ;
- another as _msdcs.dominio .

The second is to tell the client where the service and other LDAP Active Directory support needed for networked PCs. Just in case the folder does not exist, or had been removed in error, then recreate the area as _msdcs.dominio and leave it blank (it is almost impossible to recreate all the entries by hand, perhaps copying them from another installation Windows Server, also because there is at least one with a hexadecimal string that uniquely identifies the domain). Finally restart the Netlogon service ( net stop netlogon net start netlogon, and then ) and wait several minutes. At the end of waiting to find the area _msdcs.dominio complete and functional.

Finally, some observations: launching dcpromo, if the DNS is not in the server is installed. It is also possible, in the presence of a fixed IP in the connection to the Internet, create a third level domain name associated with IP and use it to create the domain. The wizard will give you some DNS configuration error in the screen test, which you can safely ignore (The error is mainly due to the fact that the DNS server of the service that is used to record the name, DynDNS for example, can not and will not allow your server is itself a domain controller sub-delegated). Council (and is almost mandatory) in the network scenario just mentioned, to use forwarders for DNS requests reliable, and if you want to use your ISP's server, then use OpenDNS (see related article in this blog).
